The photo, above, is of an old, faded photo of WWII veteran, James Rondinella, that we restored and colorized for the City of Mayfield Heights Hometown Hero program. According to my client, theirs was the best looking banner in the city!
Below are photos of the finished banner – before it was hung and then as it was displayed in downtown Mayfield Heights, Ohio.
Unfortunately, the average person doesn't understand the necessary print size and quality or the digital specifications required to create a large banner!
As a photo restoration specialist for over 40 years, I've worked with old photos of all sizes – with many in very poor condition – to create new prints that looked as good as the day the original photograph was printed.
One of the benefits of my restoring these old, damaged photos is that I can provide the printer with a high-resolution digital file that is ready to be placed on a banner that will look far better than what the average person can provide.
